Mr Justice Tho [Thomas] Lane's report on the case of James Walker convicted of petty larceny 'for stealing his Majesty's coals', Walker being employed at St James's Palace in connection with the Band of Pensioners. Lane recommends a free pardon. A Mrs Neal, Walker's landlady, is mentioned as is Sir John Fielding.
