Letter from the Board of Trade to the Earl of Halifax enclosing (folio 38) an account from the Agent for Virginia of the expenses 'attending the passage of the [South Carolina] Cherokee Indians [three Indian chiefs, Osteneco, Cunneshote. and Woyi] from England to Virginia [under the care of Ensign Henry Timberlake of the Virginia militia], and the providing a few presents for them by His Majesty's Order'.
