Folios 28-30. Letter from Robert Walpole, Clerk of the Council in waiting, to Lovell Stanhope requesting that all accounts received at Lord Halifax's office from the King's ministers abroad relating to the state of health at the Mediterranean ports be sent to the Council Office for the guidance of the Council 'in a matter of such national importance'. Two copies. On the first copy is a memorandum that a like letter was sent to Richard Phelps one of the Under Secretaries to the Earl of Sandwich, Secretary of State for the Northern Department.
