Folio 25. Fletcher Norton to the Earl of Halifax. Attorney-General's opinion that the draft affidavit to be made by a bookseller 'on the subject of a supposed confidence made him by Monsieur de Vergy [Pierre-Henri de Treyssac de Vergy]' does not contain matter sufficient to institute any prosecution as had been requested by the French Ambassador.
