Judges' certificate recommending mercy on condition of transportation for the following tried and capitally convicted on the Midland Circuit:- at [Oakham] Rutland Harris Clements for horse stealing; at Leicester Robinson Holmes for stealing a mare; at Lincoln Richard Harris and John Frisby for sheep stealing, James Turner for horse stealing; at Derby Henry Frith for sheep stealing; at Warwick Edward Crofts for sheep stealing.
