GovCertUK provides CESG?s CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) function to UK government and assists public sector organisations in the response to computer security incidents and provides advice to reduce exposure to threat. CESG is the branch of GCHQ which works to secure the communications and information systems of the government and critical parts of UK national infrastructure.
