Captured ship: Angel Gabriel of Bergen (master Hans Jensen otherwise John Johnson Meyer).
History: a Danish Norwegian merchant ship (37 lasts), bound from Bergen, allegedly to London but perhaps to France, laden with stockfish, hazel nuts, sheepskins, goatskins, hartshorn; taken in [November] 1692, between Fairlight and the Ness [Dungeness] by the privateer Amity (Robert Cadman commanding), and brought into Rye.
