Folio 265: enclosure in folios 263-264. Commission dated 9 January 1794 by Sir John Jervis to William Gordon Rutherford appointing him Eight Lieutenant to HMS Boyne.
Folio 266: enclosure in folios 263-264. Commission dated 4 July 1794 by Sir John Jervis to William Gordon Rutherford appointing him Master and Commander of HMS Nautilus.
Folio 267: Admiralty order concerning the appointment of William Gordon Rutherford. Boyne vice Lieutenant Griffiths 1st Lieutenant in the room of Carpenter to HMS Nautilus vice Captain Powlett appointed Captaiin of HMS Vengeance
