Folios 258-259: Michael Quin, HMS Windsor Castle, Plymouth Sound. Reports that having been given an acting order to command HMS Windsor Castle on 16 April 1831 in the absence of the Honurable Duncombe Pleydall Bouverie, that Bouverie rejoined the ship on 5 June 1831, and so asks whether it is necessary for to produce any books or papers for that period to receive the pay of Captain. Also adds a summary of his service to date and an offer to serve.
