The Building Regulations Advisory Committee is an advisory non-departmental public body of the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG). It was originally established in 1962. Its function is to advise the appropriate Secretary of State on the exercise of their powers to make building regulations and on other subjects connected with building regulations.
