On 22 June Lieutenant Malise Stewart Graham lost overboard. Sighted steamers. Suggested that a submarine off Sunfe Head, Faroe Islands would have good opportunity of seeing enemy submarines. The BB operation has disturbed the enemy.

Folios 418-419: Number 56, 6 July 1917. C22 patrolled between Fair Isle and Sumburgh Head, 1-6 July. On 3 July sighted an enemy submarine south of Fair Isle. Followed by hydrophone.
