Listing continues from ADM 137/2075/8.

Folio 342: 17 November 1916. G9, Lieutenant Hon. Byron Plantagenet Cary, 9-17 November, to patrol off the Skagerrak.

Folio 343: 25 November 1916. E39, Lieutenant George Sarsfield Walsh, 21-25 November. On 23 November near (co-ordinates given) followed by a trawler. Returned due to badweather.

Folio 344: 25 November 1916. Extracts from reports of G7, G8 and E39. Left Tees on 16 November. E39 returned 18 November due to illness. G8 damaged in bad weather and sheltered off Danish coast to make repairs. Lieutenant Commander Charles de Burgh was washed overboard and lucky to climb back. G8 and G7 returned on 23 November.

Folio 345: 29 November 1916. G12, Cdr. C. Regnart, 20-28 November. Norwegian coast off Christiansand, Ryvingen Light, Hirshals Light and Skaw. Gales.

Folio 346: 29 November 1916. Extracts from reports of G11 and E44, 21-28 November, under orders of Lieutenant Commander Andrew Wilmot-Smith of G11. G11 checked position of Horns Reef LV. E44 sighed many trawlers at (co-ordinates given).

Folio 347: Number 1, 6 December 1916. G13, Lieutenant George Fagan Bradshaw, 28 November to 5 December. Off Hantshelm. Patrolled line joining Naze and Firth of Forth. Little shipping.

Folios 348: Number 2, 9 December 1916. Extracts from reports of G10, G7 and G9, 2-8 December, under the orders of Lieutenant Commander Bernard Acworth of G10. G10 at (co-ordinates given) sighted a Zeppelin at (co-ordinates given).

Folio 349: Number 3, 14 December 1916. Extracts from reports of G11 and E44, 7-13 December. A third submarine supplied by Blyth. On 8 December E44 sighted German “Panther” Class [gunboat] at (co-ordinates given).

Folio 350: Number 4, 15 December 1916. G12, 5-14 December, in Skagerrak off Christiansand, Hirshal Light, and Hantsholm Light.

Folio 351: Number 5, 22 December 1916. G10, Lieutenant Commander Bernard Acworth, 14-22 December, off Lister Light to intercept “Prinz Frederick Wilhelm” which had passed earlier.

Folio 352-353: Number 6, 25 December 1916. Extracts from reports of G9, G12 (replacing G7) and G13, 7-13 December.

Folio 354: Number 7, 31 December 1916. G8, Lieutenant Commander Charles de Burgh, 22-30 December, off Skudesnaes Fiord.

Folio 355: Number 8, 4 January 1917. Extracts from reports of G7 and E39, 27 December to 2 January. On 28 December G7 sighted a Zeppelin at (co-ordinates given).

Folio 356: Number 9, 8 January 1817. Extracts from reports of G9 and G11, 30 December to 6 January. Sighted two Norwegian steamers.

Folio 357: Number 10, 13 January 1917. Extracts of reports from E44 and G13, 6-12 January, off Horns Reef. Sighed Zeppelins.

Folio 358: Number 11, 14 January 1917. G12, 6-14 January, for Northern patrol. Other submarine from 11th Flotilla.

Folio 359: Number 11a, 21 January 1917. Extracts from reports of G8, Lieutenant Commander Charles de Burgh, and G9, Lieutenant Hon. Byron Plantagenet Cary, leaving on 12 and 13 January. G8, off Christiansand and G9 off Naze. Returned 19 and 21 January.

Folio 360: Number 12, 23 January 1917. Extracts from reports of G10 and E39, 15-21 January, on Northern patrol.

Folio 361: Number 13, 20 January 1917. G11, Lieutenant Commander Wilmot-Smith, (G5 from Blyth) 21-28 January, patrolling Naze-Ekersund-Naze. Folios 362-363: Number 14, 2 February 1917: Extracts from reports of E44 and E49, 25 January to 1 February, E44 patrol T and E49 patrol U. On 1 February E44 sighted an enemy submarine at (co-ordinates given).

Folio 364: Number 15, 6 February 1917. Extracts from reports of G7 and G13, 29 January to 5 February.

Folios 365-366: Number 16, 11 February 1917. Extracts from reports of G12, G8 and E394-11 February. G12 to Q and R areas, G8 to N and P areas and E39 to H and L areas. On 8 February, G8 proceeded around Skaw to search Aalbeck Bight. E39 passed a possible mine [sketch included].

Folio 367: Number17, 13 February 1917. G10, 6-12 February, patrolled areas G and K.

Folio 368: Number 18, 19 February 1917. G9 patrolled areas D and F 10-16 February, E49 areas Hand L 11-17 February and G11 areas G and K 12-18 February. Airships were sighted.

Folio 369: Number 19, 23 February 1917. G13 Y and Z patrols 15-21 February.

Folio 370: Number 20, 1 March 1917. G7 patrolled area Q 22-28 February.

Folio 371: Number 21, 2 March 1917. G8 patrolled areas R and S 23 February to 1 March.

Folio 372: Number 22, 4 March 1917. E39 patrolled areas N and F and G12 areas Y and Z, 24 February to 4 March. Sighted mines.

Folio 373: Number 23, 9 March 1917. G10 patrolled areas Q and R and G9 area S, 28 February to 9 March.

Folio 374: Number 24, 15 March 1917. G11, Lt. Chapman, patrolled areas G and K, 8-14 March. On 13 March sighted a submarine at (co-ordinates given).

Folio 375: Number 25, 26 March 1917. G9 patrolled areas N and P and G10 area T, 18-26 March. G10 sighted Dutch steamers at (co-ordinates given).

Folio 376: Number 26, 4 April 1917. G13 left Tees on 3 March arriving Scapa 4 March leaving on 8 March to patrol off Muckle Flugga. On 9 March G13, Lieutenant George Fagan Bradshaw, torpedoed and sank a large hostile submarine. Returned 15 March. Patrolled off St Kilda, 23-31 March.

Folio 377: Number 27, 4 April 1917. G7 left on 11 March and arrived at Scapa on 12 March. Patrolled off Solisker 13-19 March. Patrolled between Bergen and Lerwick, 27 March to 2 April.

Folio 378: Number 28, 8 April 1917. G8 patrolled Lerwick – Bergen route, 1-7 April. Folio 379: Number 29, 12 April 1917. E44 patrolled off St. Kilda, 3-11 April. Attacked by [RN] trawlers.

Folio 380: Number 30, 13 April 1917. G11, Lieutenant Chapman, patrolled area AA, 6-13 April. Heard submarine on hydrophone.

Folio 381: Number 31, 14 April 1917. G10, Lieutenant Commander Bernard Acworth, patrolled off Muckle Flugga, 5-13 April. On 7 April sighted an enemy submarine.

Folio 382: Number 32, 22 April 1917. G13, Lieutenant George Fagan Bradshaw, 13-21 April. On 14 April sighed an enemy submarine at (co-ordinates given). On 20 April fired on by [RN] trawlers.

Folio 383: Number 33, 22 April 1917. G9, Lieutenant Hon. Byron Plantagenet Cary, patrolled off St Kilda, 13-21 April.

Folios 384-388: Number 34, 22 April 1917. G7, LtCdr. Warburton, patrolled Bergen-Lerwick route, 13-21 April. On 15 April sank an enemy submarine by gun fire. Handed over steamer Borgila to Norwegian destroyer Draug. Bring to notice for gallantry: Lieutenant Commander Warburton, E.R.A. George Cromarty, Leading Stoker. James W. Frost, Stoker. Percy Linsay and Tel. Rance Spink plus A.B. William Briggs.
