Folios 198-199: S.P. 1918/39, 25 May 1918. G1, Lieutenant Edward Frederick Fanning, on Z.22 patrol, 14-24 May. On 20 May sighted German airship at 57¢ª47¡¯N 6¢ª16¡¯E. Folios 199-200: S.P. 1918/40, 27 May 1918. G4, Lieutenant Thomas Aislabie Powell, on Z.29 and Y.9 patrol, 16-26 May.

Folios 200-201: S.P. 1918/42, 29 May 1918. On 26 May, J5 exchanged gun fire with an enemy submarine. When the gun jammed, J5 dived but a large amount of water entered, flooding the battery and generating chlorine gas. When surfaced, enemy submarine made off.

Folios 201-202: S.P. 1918/43, 3 June 1918. J2, Lieutenant Commander Norman Douglas Holbrook, on Z.48 patrol, 25 May to 2 June.

Folios 202-203: S.P. 1918/44, 3 June 1918. J7, Lieutenant Commander Fitzroy Hamilton Dalrymple Byron, on patrol Z.49, 25 May to 2 June. On 25 May attacked by a submarine at (co-ordinates given). On 29 May sighted British seaplane carrier and destroyers at (co-ordinates given). On 1 June sighted HMS Furious and destroyers at (co-ordinates given).
