Folios 148-149. Newsletter. The House of Commons sat in committee on the Supply and resolved to double the duty on stamp paper and parchment except in some cases 'which are not able to bear it'. They went through the last bill but are not yet ready for a report. They think bills of lading and some other things are suitable to be included in the current bill and therefore wish to sit again.
