Folio 133. Journals of the House of Lords for Ambassador Williamson. 19 April. Acts for erecting workhouses in Hereford; the more effectual suppression of blasphemy. Hearing of counsel in the case between Sir Simon Leech and Mr Leech. 20 April. Mr Smith and Mr Burgh's bills to be returned to the Commons. Bills to be brought up:- to make the Rivers Aire and Calder navigable; naturalisation of William Lloyd; granting extra time to several persons to qualify themselves for their offices. Acts:- to enable John Hawks to sell land in Shropshire for payment of debts; to vest the estate of Thomas Lassells in trustees for payment of debts; erection of a workhouse in Exeter; to vest Thomas Rogers with an absolute estate of inheritance of land in Kent; to vest the estate of the late Thomas Davis in trustees for payment of debts; to enable Streynham Masters to sell land in Kent; for the repair of the highway between Birdlip and Gloucester.
