Folios 85-86. Newsletter to Sir Joseph Williamson. The King has given his assent to the several private and public acts set out in the printed Votes [Number 96] and left for Newmarket. The Commons resolution to lay a duty on coal namely five shillings per chaldron on coal carried by sea, three shillings per chaldron on coal brought by land and one shilling per chaldron on 'culm' [anthracite].
