Description

Folios 83-84. Notes of parliamentary proceedings. 4 April. Consideration by the Lords of an answer they had received from the Sergeant at Arms attending the Commons concerning the latter's refusal to comply with the Lords' order to deliver [Edward] Mariot [Marriott] in connection with the false endorsement of Exchequer bills. 5 April. Vote by the Committee of Ways and Means on the resolution to impose a duty on coal.
