Acts relating to Sir Ralph Hare; George Hewet; Sir John Churchill; Robert Smith; erection of hospitals and workhouses in Crediton and hospitals in Tiverton. Hearing of Mr Howard's case against the Marquis of Douglass. 22 March. Including the ordering into custody of several persons for breaching the Earl of Northampton's privilege by fishing within his manor; the hearing of a case on a writ of error between the Keeper of the Chest and the King; an act relating to Humphrey Walrond and another to Paris Slaughter. 23 March. Including an act relating Viscount Lisburn; debate on the Earl of Rochford's petition; an answer ordered to be put in to Elizabeth Lloyds's petition; committee to consider 'the practice of Exchequer bills'. 24 March. Various acts such as that for the erection of workhouses in Tiverton. 26 March. Including consideration of the paper declared to be 'a false, malicious and scandalous libel' on the Lord Chancellor and matters relating thereto. 28 March. Including various private bills and the hearing of the case between Coote and Smith on a Writ of Error.
