Description

Folios 298-299. An unsigned newsletter to Ambassador [Joseph] Williamson. Reports: the acquittal at trial of [Charles] Duncomb for falsely endorsing Exchequer bills, with Warwick Lake chairman of the jury; the death of [Popham] Conway Seymour, after being wounded in a duel by Captain [George] Kirke; the departures for Holland of the French Ambassador [Comte Tallard], and also Lord Portland.
