An unsigned newsletter, dated at Whitehall [Middlesex], reporting: King [William's] visit to the Tower [of London], Greenwich [Kent], the Earl of Romney's house for dinner, return to Kensington [Palace, Middlesex], and impending journey to Holland [Netherlands]; the Earl of Tankerville and, probably, Mr Boyle's appointments as Treasury Commissioners; appointments of Sir Thomas Littleton as Treasurer of the Navy, and Colonel Henry Mordaunt's as Treasurer of the Ordnance; Mr Smith's probable appointment as Chancellor of the Exchequer; Colonel Harvey's appointment as Colonel of Levenson's regiment of horse guards, and the equerry Mr Dormer made Groom of the Bedchamber; Colonel Windsor is made Viscount of the Blackcastle [?Wicklow] in Ireland, and Mr Petty Baron of Shelburn; and the Sieur de Cleverskerk late ambassador from Holland, made a baronet.
