Description

Folios 277-278. An unsigned newsletter, dated at Whitehall [Middlesex], reporting: King [William's] diner at the Earl of Ranelagh's house, and his impending trip to Holland [Netherlands]; the King's audience with the ambassador from Savoy, and notification of the birth of the Prince [Victor Amadeus] of Piedmont; the swearing-in of Lord Ferrers of Chartley as Privy Councillor; and the appointment, as commissioners of the Admiralty, of the Earl of Bridgewater, Lord Haversham, Sir George Rook, Sir Robert Rich and Sir David Mitchell.
