A letter from Ja [James] Vernon to Ambassador [Joseph] Williamson, dated at Whitehall [concerning diplomatic negotiations], noting Monsieur Lilierode's impending arrival in Holland [Netherlands], Sweden's attitude to the guarantees of the Peace [Treaty] of Ryswick [Rijswijk], and the inclusion of the Spanish Netherlands. Also refers to Williamson's impending departure [from The Hague], and yachts being put at his disposal; and reports that the Earl of Bridgewater is being made a commissioner of the Admiralty.
