Folio 267. A letter from Ja [James] Vernon to Mr [Richard] Hill, dated at Whitehall [Middlesex] concerning an [Irish, Roman Catholic] priest [?linked to the Spanish ambassador] who Vernon would rather execute but, with the consent of both sides, might be 'going away'. Also mentions that Hill is to 'discard me as a correspondent', since Lord Jersey now has 'the seals' [of the Southern Secretary's office].
