An unsigned newsletter to Ambassador [Joseph] Williamson, dated at Whitehall, reporting on the Parliament of Ireland: a land dispute between the sheriffs of Londonderry; a bill concerning linen manufacture; a bill raising £120,000 land tax; a bill for additional duty on Woollen manufactures; the delayed departure from Portsmouth [Hampshire] of William Norris, going as ambassador to the Mogul [Muhi-ud-Din Muhammad, alias Aurangzeb]; supply of £800,000 for disbanding the forces; and a complaint against Mr Wollaston by Robert Thompson to the committee of Privileges.
