Folios 97-98. Memorandum concerning two French ships detained by Captain John Edward, commander of the Blackwell Hall, owned by Thomas Carbonell, on 7 December 1698. The Commissioners for Preventing the Exportation of Wool, etcetera, have met, and have allowed the wool to be unloaded, and ruled that the law should settle whether the wool is French or English.
