Description

Folio 169. Letter from Tho [Thomas] Hopkins to Lord Ambassador Williamson. 'There is nothing of news to send your Excellency besides the enclosed papers. We are big with expectations what the Parliament will do in relation to Mr Duncomb, and the bills of redemption. They are two large heads and capable of producing considerable additions to the Crown revenue but I am apt to think looking so far back and so many people being concerned therein, will never pass both Houses'.
