The Civil Procedure Rule Committee was established in 1997 under the Civil Procedure Act 1997. The Committee makes rules of procedure for the Civil Division of the Court of Appeal, the High Court and County Courts. The Committee is an advisory non-departmental public body of the Ministry of Justice.
