Place of accident: On board S/S "Karno", Glamorgan.
Injury: Slight wound in large toe.
Details of accident: When forming a sling of pitwood in the main hold of this steamer he attempted to fix the tomahawk, which he was using, in a piece of wood, and another piece rolling down struck the implement causing it to glide off and the point to enter his right foot.
