Folio 92. Newsletter reporting that the Lords of the Privy Council and of the Treasury went to the city and waited on the Lord Mayor and proposed that the city should lend some money for paying foreign troops and seamen. After consideration, the Lord Mayor replied that the court of aldermen and the common council were unanimously agreed to consent to the proposal.
