Folios 87-87(a). Newsletter from Ireland. Fourteen of the Lords, whereof six are bishops, protested against the bill for confirming the articles of Limerick. In the cause depending between the Society of London and the Bishop of Derry, the House of Lords decided that the Bishop be put into possession of the lands in question. The Commons have prepared the heads of a bill for the increase in number of freeholders in that kingdom, for the better expedition of justice. The Lords Justices intended to go to Kilkenny on Friday to pay the Duchess of Ormonde a visit.
