Folio 100. An unsigned newsletter to Jo [Joseph] Williamson [Ambassador in the Netherlands], dated at Whitehall. Reports on Spain's alarm at the French siege of Barcelona, and a request for help from an English fleet to break a blockade imposed at sea by Count d'Estree. Also refers to the storm-hit Virginia fleet; and the imminent embarkation for Holland of the regiments of Selwin, and the Earl of Trelawney.
