Reports on: the recovery in health of the Lord Chancellor [John Somers]; Mr [William] Palmes believes he can raise at least £20,000 [to cover public money he has diverted from the Treasury for personal use]; the disposal, by the Treasury, of £7 or £800,000 in the 'salt tullies to the Victuallers'; and the discounting of Bank [of England] bills.
