Folios 62-63. An unsigned newsletter to Sir Joseph Williamson [ambassador in the Netherlands], dated at Whitehall [Middlesex]. Reports on: orders for the embarkation of regiments to Flanders; a warning to the Lord Mayor and aldermen of London, from the Lords Justices, of an increased risk from 'Papists [Roman Catholics] and other disaffected persons'; eight Dutch warships cruising westward from St Helens [Isle of Wight]; and a sighting of the 'Straits [of Gibraltar] fleet, from Milford [Haven, Pembrokeshire], of Mounts Bay [Cornwall], bearing up for [the isles of] Scilly.
