Place of accident: Senghenydd Running Shed, Glamorgan.
Injury: Second and third fingers of right hand bruised and cut.
Details of accident: Francis was getting coal from the bunker of his engine when he struck his right hand against the bunker slide, cutting the second and third fingers. He completed his day's work but has been absent since.
