Injury: Fatal.
Details of accident: Edwards was engaged in tightening fish bolts in the Down Road and was knocked down by a Light Engine which he failed to notice approaching. The Driver of the Light Engine sounded his whistle and says Edward looked up and appeared to see his Engine but the Driver then lost sight of him owing to the steam of an approaching train. Edwards was not seen by the Driver again until too late. He died in the hospital.
