Details of accident: This train is run solely for the Colliery Company's Workmen and despite Notices exhibited at the pit head and in the train warning men not to enter or leave the train whilst in motion and also despite prosecutions instituted by the Company from time to time men will, if not watched, leave the train before it is brought to a stand. On this occasion Lambert got upon the footboard of one of the coaches as the train was approaching the Platform, his legs being caught and squeezed between the coach and the Platform.
