Details of accident: The driver without being asked by the Guard moved his Engine slightly with the object of easing the coupling at the same moment as the Guard got his hand on the plunger to obtain possession of his coupling pole resulting in the Guard getting his fingers squeezed between the pole and the Engine buffer.
