Occupation: Goods Guard.
Place of accident: Rhymney, Monmouthshire.
Injury: Fingers cut and bruised.
Details of accident: Cole, disregarding all instructions forbidding the use of coupling poles as brake sticks, used his coupling pole to apply brakes and the pole being too long for such a purpose came in contact with a ground disc bruising Cole's hand.
