Place of accident: Ystrad Mynach, Glamorgan.
Injury: Bruised abdomen.
Details of accident: Parry, in order to assist the Guard and expedite the working of his train attemped to put down a brake on a Private Owner's Wagon when the brake lever sprung up causing the brake stick to strike Parry in the abdomen.
