Place of accident: Cwm Bargoed, Glamorgan.
Injury: Leg crushed necessitating amputation below knee.
Details of accident: Parker, who was a passenger in a workers train run for the Colliery Company, attempted to alight from the train before it came to a stand and in so doing fell between the platform and the train, the wheels of one of the coaches passing over his leg.
