Place of accident: Cardiff, Glamorgan.
Injury: Fourth finger of right hand cut off.
Details of accident: Gwynn was in the act of replacing the pricker on the bunker of his engine which was in motion when the side rod came in contact with the pricker and caught his hand between the latter and the roof of the cab causing the injury described.
