Name: Ernest Perry.
Occupation: Engines Packer.
Place of accident: Cardiff Docks, Glamorgan.
Injury: Middlefinger of right hand crushed.
Details of accident: Perry was assisting a fitter to change a spring on a dead Engine. When the Engine, after the release of the brake, moved forward an inch or two he placed a spanner under the wheel and got his finger squeezed between the spanner and brickwork of the engine Pit.
