Details of accident: Thomas, to save himself a short walk, jumped upon the last vehicle of a moving train catching hold of the drawerbar hook and supported himself by placing his legs around the coupling. He was told to get down and upon passing a signal cabin where he had to attend to the lamps he fell to the ground.
