Pages 71-72. The Council having considered a complaint by Sir William Russell [former sheriff of Worcestershire] against William Sandys for an assault on his miller and abuse by Sandys's servants, mindful that the first Council date after 5 February has already been set to hear charges against Russell by the Commissioners for the River Avon, orders that Russell and Sandys provide each other with written copies of their allegations and attend on that date, and that pending that hearing the parties neither act violently nor bring further actions.
