Pages 64-65. The Earl of Leicester v. the daughters of Sir Robert Dudley. Letter to Sir Thomas Liegh [Leigh], Sir Thomas Lucy and Sir Robert Lee informing them that they will receive a commission empowering them to investigate the complaint of William Emott, servant to the Earl of Leicester, that the Earl's lands and tenements in the manor of Balsall have been wrongly entered during his absence abroad. If true the King's pleasure is that the Earl's servants shall have peaceable possession, subject to payment of the usual rents.
