Folio 302. A list of persons in the messengers' custody 'who were committed a good while since, upon suspicion only and against whom no information is yet brought and who are so poor they are not able to get their liberty by habeas corpus'. Names listed George Maculloch, Daniel Rosse, Francis West, John Keale, John Burroughs, John Monday, Robert Inwood, John Cox, [blank] Napper. Ann Spencly, [blank] Bromfield a coffee man, Thomas Jones, Jonas Graves, John Crofts and Thomas Seager 'starving in the Gatehouse'.
