Description

Folio 234. Extract from a news-letter about the proclamation by the Lords Justices for the apprehension of Henry Every [Avery], a pirate said to have taken a pilgrim ship en route to Mecca aboard which was said to be a Moorish Princess' which 'has much incensed the Moors of Surat and other parts of India against the English'.
