Letter from J Ellis to Sir Joseph Williamson that he wonders 'the parliament men's letters should not be franked at the post house here [London], where their names are, or ought to be, well known; for the way they take at Tonbridge to have the cover of the letters looks ridiculous' and he will speak to the Commissioners of the Post Office to ask that they reform the practice.
