Folio 217. Lieutenant-Colonel [Francois] Desimbert to [Sir William Trumbull]. As he does not speak English, he did not understand Trumbull's message that Mr Clark, his landlord, gave him, though he knows he spoke of Desimbert's return to France. He asks that Clark be ordered to bring him before Trumbull.
