Letter from Titus Gershon in Norwich [Norfolk] to Sir William Trumbull praying to be set at liberty having been imprisoned, with his servant, by the mayor because of some scimitars he displayed for sale. He says he is a native of Upper Saxony, a traveller for more than 20 years in the East and West Indies and the Levant, of a good protestant family and a physician of many years standing.
